Nigeria Custom Service expresses readiness to participate in Oyo state proposed one stop investment centre

The Nigeria Custom Service (NCS) has expressed readiness to participate with the Oyo state government in its proposed one stop investment centre to facilitate industrialization drive in the state.      


The Deputy Controller Revenue and processing centre of Oyo-Osun command, Adewuyi Abiola stated at a meeting with during a visit to the office of the state bureau of investment promotion and public private partnership.


The Deputy controller urged other states across the nation to emulate such innovation, noting that such policy would improve the state IGR, create employment opportunities and promote a viable economy.

 

Adewuyi assured the state government, that provisions would be made by the custom services for a liaison officer to man a desk in the one stop investment centre.


The host and executive secretary of the Oyo state bureau of investment promotion and public private partnership, Mr. Yinka Fatoki said the state government was working at ensuring that all relevant agencies become involved in the one stop investment centre to expedite processes of doing business in the state.


The one stop investment centre had been bill to open formally on the 1st of October.
